(to) do it over-- Daily Easy English Expression 0018

It means ‘do it again’. Sometimes I post these lessons, I realize I made a mistake and I have to do it over. It happens. We all make mistake and we can do better. I don’t like to do it over or do it again. I like to do one time perfectly.

Do it over-- dialogue

How do you like my picture, daddy?
What is it?
It's a picture of a bear.
Oh... Um... You should do it over!
This is a video for ESL (English as a Second Language) learners. This video explains a common expression in American English. It also explains typical American pronunciation.

(to) do up (something)-- Daily Easy English Expression 0017

Today, we have another phrasal verb "(to) do up (cloths)". This is like the same as yesterday but do up (cloths). Do up jacket, do up a coat, do up a zipper, do up a dress, and do up your shirt. What does it mean? Can you guess?
It means to zip up your jacket, zip up paint, zip up your dress, to fasten your button. So if it is really cold outside, you should do up your coat. If you wear a tie, you need to do up your tie. So if you do up tie then you look very professional.
Do up (something)-- Dialogue:

Is it cold outside, mom?
Yes. Be sure to do up your jacket.
Okay. Where's my hat?
In your pocket!

This is a video for ESL (English as a Second Language) learners. This video explains a common expression in American English. It also explains typical American pronunciation.

I do it up my birthday.
یاد رہے کہ اگر آپ نارمل یا سادے سے ہی انداز میں سالگرہ مناتے ہیں تو ایسی صورت میں اس کو do it up نہیں کہا جائے گا۔
